    Old Maps of Hispanola

    Hello everybody,


    Thanks for all the possitive add of you here. If you have old maps of the island Hispanola please share them with me. I already heave a lot but you never have them all. You can mail them to me. Please no links because when I work there is not always internet to lookup.

    I bought these maps in a small store in calle Las Damas. I was with Bobadilla that day and I gave him one as a gift so he most have a copy some where...

    The first one is a Carta de la isla Española, por Andres Morales 1509

    The second one was done by el comografo P. Coronelli in 1696

    Looks like the first map has been flip flopped (left to right, right to left). Great maps though!

    The first map looks like in reverse and 'fake'

    The second one looks original
