The SS North Carolina was sunk in 1840 enroute from Wilmington to Charleston when it collided with another SS. It was recently found off SC by MAREX. The booty included some very nice gold coins and other nice artifacts. I'm bummed because this is one I always wanted to look for. Anyway I was wondering if Robert or anyone else had any additional info about it.

Welcome aboard Mike, I bought your book this morning on Amazon and read a post from you this evening on TreasureNet...the internet sure makes this a small world. Our weekend at Jupiter has got my blood pumping and I knew I'd need some good reading over the winter...so I went and spent $150 on treasure hunting books. :D
