    Nice Rig

    Any one know any info on this thing, sits in the Cape Fear 12 months a year. Looks like a rig that belongs over the Central America, but its been in port for a while now.

    The ship that worked the Central America is located in Green Cove Springs, Florida.
    This is a suburb of Jacksonville. I seen the ship a few years back tied to the
    dock. Most all of the dynamic positioning gear was removed.

    I had a chance to go aboard the vessel when it was berthed in Fernandina, Fl on
    the off season. The ROV was not present at this time. I met with the Chief Engineer
    and he took me aboard into the galley and showed me ROV photos of the recovery
    operations. The gold coins were stacked just like you would stack them on your desk.
    Even with the sinking of the ship everything remained intact. There was some impressive photos.
