Hey buddy, I bet docbeav would have an idea, you know the seal team guys have been using them for years even though they have a surface bouy somewhere to comm with.........any guys (SBS) from your old life would also have an opinion I bet

No way. The satellite signals will not travel underwater. Sounds like b.s. to me.

I was trained to use wrist compass underwater navigation, and it has never failed me yet.

Boatload, it does not work by the wrist mounted unit receiving the GPS signal.

You have a floating bouy receiving the GPS then a transmitter under the bouy using conventional through water positioning technology.

yeah, would have been neat to be able to plot items of the sea bed, in order to return to the exact position later on the surface!

Is it an outhouse for that nice Georgia cabin you are thinking about buying?:dontknow::laughing7: Better stock up on the old Sears & Roebuck Catlalogs or corn cobs while you are at it because Poison Ivy or Poison Oak leaves are a pain in/on the a&$!:laughing7:
