Must be a lot of stuff still underwater....marine sanctuary, off limits to us ordinary people. They have found fighter planes in the past around the Hawaiian islands. There once was a plane that got dug, on land all fully loaded with live bombs. Those privileged persons digging around the bombs, seemed to be going at it very carefully.

I would like to have just one of the perfectly good planes they pushed off of the carriers after the war.
It would look so cool in my field

I looked through some of those photos, you can see an engine still on the plane in one of them.

Kind of like an underwater museum, I suppose it will stay that way for a long time.
