At one time I had a complete collection of National Geo from 1932 until 2000. Way too many to haul around. I tried to give them away for about six months and finally trashed them. A shame, don't ya think?

It's all in how they are preserved. Most are kept in stacks in a basement or attic and degrade over the years. The one I got looks fresh of the press and maybe opened once. Not bad for 50 years old. It's in better shape than me :laughing7: Even the mediocre January 65's go for $5 plus shipping.

TH - thanks - my older bro still lives in East bay over by Universal

edited to add - I find that some of these issues sell for the Vietnam map included with the cover story and NOT the Kip Wagner story. Mine DID NOT include the map.
