THIS IS TRUE:
You know the old saying about "IT IS SO COLD IT WILL FREESE THE BALLS OFF A BRASS MONKEY"It seems that the British Navy came up with a way to store cannon balls. The device was called a Brass Monkey. They would stack cannon balls on this device which had hammered indentations so the the cannons balls would sit in thee indentation and would not roll around but when in very cold weather the brass would shrink and the cannon balls would start to roll around all over the place.
This was the beginning of stacking the cannon balls in a pyramid shaped stack
Hard to believe but true.

I concur. Peg Leg was one of a kind. Got to meet him and Cyndee at the 07 Expo. It was a pleasure to talk with him and take in some of his past adventures. A man of great knowledge about this area and treasure hunting who will truely be missed.
