About five years ago I put together a little video on HMHS BRITANNIC, not just on our 2015-2016 dives to this majestic wreck, but also to learn more about the history of this vessel, including construction, sinking, and early exploration. In doing so, I talked to some fascinating people, including historian Paul Louden-Brown, as well as early expedition leaders Kevin Gurr and Jarrod Jablonski. The end result is a video that runs just over 25 minutes intended for presentations at dive shows, but which I have broken into four segments for ease of viewing on this platform. Here is the first clip, which details the history and importance of BRITANNIC in the context of immigration. I will post the following three segments over the following three days. So be sure to SUBSCRIBE to my channel...you won't want to miss the final clip where we circumnavigate this massive wreck--pursued by two submarines! And, if you enjoy these videos, please share with your friends!

YouTube won't let you view it in full screen in an embedded viewing window (e.g., the one in this thread), but if you click on the YouTube logo and go to the video's "home" on YouTube, you can view it in full screen there. Guess it's just a function of the coding when you embed the link....

I can't believe how calm the water is when they took the sub down. It's almost like a sheet of glass.
