About two years ago I posted my first findings on this wreck and unfortunately hadn't been able to dive on it until this summer. To say the least it is still revealing quite a few interesting items. Attached are a few of the Pic for those Items that we've found in the last week. As we uncover more, I'll post them for all to see..

Good stuff, DD! Thanks for the update. The plate edges look similar to the one found in the movie Fool's Gold. Interesting!

Hi Just-Geese,

The only plate that has a makers mark one it is one of the small purple plates, all the other plates including the platter from 06 has nothing on the back. One of our goals was to try and find enough of the platter and plates so we could figure out what year and country they were from. I've attached a couple of the platter photos so you can see the detail in them, pls note there isn't any type of makers mark on the back. The purple plate that does have a makers mark is also included.

Hi Don
Those are very impressive. It must have been exciting as you kept uncovering the pieces. I sure would like to have some china with that much detail. Hell, I would be happy with some plain white china.
Best of luck to you .....

JG,

This is fantastic, I never thought that I would see the what the whole plate looked like, let alone know where it came from.

Sea Hunter,

I'd must say that its nothing close to even being fantastic, lots of work digging in some sticky goo, sifting though lots and lots of broken glass and shells that love cutting our hands, never mind that your wearing leather coral gloves and work gloves.

However, I will tell you what was a fantastic time. It was the week that I spent diving with you and ScottieLee back in 07 digging for and recovering real treasure. The stuff that I'm recovering is nothing like the jolt that I got when we were recovering those silver coins, especially the amount that we recovered that week. If I recall correctly you continued the streak and topped it by recovering that silver chalice and a cannon too, now that's what I call treasure.

It was a great experience for me and will always be one of my best stories to tell others.

I just want to say Thank You for a chance of a Life Time and a experience that I'll never forget.

VR,

Don

As for the Mullberry plate pieces that we found, Just-Geese was kind enough to find the complete plate at an antiques store.

Since the odds were 1 in a 1000 that we would find the plate, I bought it and I'm quite happy with it .

Below are some photos of the plate that I bought and what started the search in the first place.

The high arches on the structures on the china shard you have look just like a painting my dad has of a building on the water with sailboats in front of it that he bought in ROME italy.over 40 years ago.Acropolis looks to be a roman name of a company.

Hi FishEye,

The china shard pieces are from a plate like the plate shown, what we know about it is that its called a Staffordshire transfereplate from England and its dated around 1840.
