Mexico City mint minted in the 1600's. One can eliminate King Philip V reign as the Bourbon Shield element is missing. It is a Hapsburg shield. The details are smooth and difficult to make out so my best guess is it was minted during the reign of King Philip IV under assayer Geronimo Bercerra (Assayer G). Based on the scale of the features, I would guess the denomination to be an 8 Reale.

Thanks for the informative response. it weighs around 13 grams if memory servers me well. I found it where two large rock formation come together. Some sand and dirt formed a three inch dirt pile between the large rock formations and was easy to find.
