Many are genuine, very few post in order to troll the group. When it comes to Spanish cobs, to a neophyte who is unaware of the meaning of the devices of the coinage, it all looks like hieroglyphics. The makers of fantasy pieces are aware of the educational hurdle and compose their pieces with just enough detail to make them look genuine. Of course, for those that are familiar with cobs, these pieces scream of fraudulence with a passing glance. What makes it harder for the neophyte to accept the truth, is when the pieces are dug as if the origin lends credence to it's authenticity.
