Since your a Gator fan, I will have to force myself to answer part of your question, lol.
The Maravedis dates to what looks to me early 1500s, real early.
If we had better photos (agreed)...that really would help.
Macro is the best and would help with everything else.
You are a digging machine...the sight your finding this on? wow...keep at it.

That copper is a cool find!
Never saw one of those before.
Not to downplay the cob.
Obviously that's a once-in-a-lifetime find for many of us.
