Spanish artifact

Hello, I live in Frrance and I detetect with my excalibur from 13 years

There is one month I have found a coin of 8 real dated of 1657,it is a silver coin and is weight is 25 or 26 grs for 14 cm(5.5 inchs)

I have found three nails who are in bronze. One nail do 100grs

Do you think they come from a spanish boat? I see almost the same in your picture in your post spanish artifacts on treasurenet.

Yes, a very nice Spanish cob that looks authentic. :thumbsup: The brass nails could be from a shipwreck. I found half of one. Yours has an unusual point like an arrowhead.

That's a good cob for that time period. A strike with part of the outside legend is very rare. Who knows what nationality it is? It is my understanding that the Spanish used those iron nails in that time period, but who knows. Keep doing whatever you are doing.
