"Along The Rio Grande"
Another good book that mentions Tayopa and other mining in Northern Mexico is available to read or download off the Internet. "Along the Rio Grande" is in Public Domain. It was published in 1916.

Re: "Along The Rio Grande"
HOLA amigos,
I wanted to point out a minor difference in this story of Tayopa, that it was attributed to FRANCISCANS rather than Jesuits and mentions that the Franciscans lost the records. Interesting, no?
Finally remembered to post that tidbit - see folks, even advanced cases of memory loss due to old age like ME can occasionally be corrected!

De nada Sr. Jose de La Mancha I am glad you liked the link. I think that you misspelled your name on your last post, in your earlier post on this thread you signed Don Jose de La Mancha, you signed Don Jose de La Mnacha.
