Get a sample of the type nail you are running into and place it on the ground where it is clean of all metal. Wave coil over it while adjusting disc till it doesn't respond and go at it. Once you turn the detector off you'll lose the setting unless you save it to Custom. Or you can "unlearn it."

Just wondering how you made at the site. What sandman said is correct. The only thing I might add is that once you get to the point of no detecting the nail, throw down a dime and make you can still get it. You can go too far with discrimination.

It's simple, just set it in the correlate mode. If the two frequencies don't match on the return it will not display the targets like nails. Frank
