My next detector's either gonna be a Tesoro Cazador or an AT Pro... Definitely the Tesoro if the machine cracks up to be what everyone says.

I bet it will resemble that, but that is certainly not the exact machine, I don't think Tesoro wouldn't let it leak out...

I talked to a local dealer about a month ago and he didn't even know they had a new machine in the works. I'd think they would push to get it advertised and out soon before would be buyers purchase something else as summer gets near.

Agree, with tax refunds in the mail, Tesoro should jump to capture some of that easy money.

Nokta/Makro products, as well as others. Self built Mirage PI's. The Mirage is excellent in trashy sites, unlike many PI's.
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Tesoro is working on it. The Caz will be ready when everything is just right. Dealers are not at liberty to discuss the new offering before release date. And for the most part they don't know more than you and I. Possibly by summer you will see it. Tesoro says it is not a rehashed detectors Tesoro currently makes. It's something totally new. Now you guys can keep speculating and start saving your pennies, lots of them.

I was on the phone with them and they almost let the cat out of the bag, I was discussing an un related issue with my Tejon and this guy I talked to almost told me about the new machine. He said he doubted it would have a VDI meter but would be multi toned. I dont want to get the guy in trouble so wont mention a name. I love Tesoros. Its all I have used since 1983 but I want at least one VDI machine to play around with so I'm looking at a F 70 for civil war hunting.

Thank Goodness on multitones! 4-6 tones on a Vaquero would be great.

True! If the Vaquero is $446 with ONE tone, I imagine a Caz with multi tones will be around $900? That is alot of pennies!

I highly doubt that. The MXT with one tone is $729. Meanwhile, the MXT Pro with four tones and a back light is only $150 more.

Yes, but mxt also has a display and many other features. I was referring to Tesoros pricing, not White's. The $900 price wasn't meant to be taken seriously, lol.

"Whole lotta speculation going on here..."
You don't need to be knowledgeable of the mystery detector to 'speculate'. :hello:
That's the fun part of it all. Who knows, some of these 'speculations' could turn out to be right.
Time will tell.
