Well it was 63 degrees and sunny here in eastern Ohio today, so I just had to take the Tesoro Golden umax out, just to say that I did. :laughing7: I did not find anything valuable at the park I chose to visit, but some clad and a silver plated money clip engraved with someone's' name and retirement date, but it was nice getting out.

As I was out, the ground being soft and moist from melted snow, I noticed how the golden with the 7" DD was going an inch or two deeper, and wondered if I really wanted a detector that went much deeper than 8 or 9 inches in a city park?

Still trying to decide between the Vaq and the Outlaw for a new machine, I think the Outlaw scored some points today just because it is not as deep as the Vaq, given where I have to metal detect. Still deciding though...
