YES! I have tried all of my coils on the Tejon. The 11 x 8 seems to be just as deep as the 12 x 10, is lighter and more balanced!

I'll second that.

Thanks guys that is what I wanted to hear! I have used the 12x10 on the Outlaw and although not unbearable; I did find it a little heavy after a few hours. I love the new coil on the Vaq so th Tejon should be great too.....

Two-three days for coil arrival. At least a month before the soil starts to give. But feeling the Tejon Viagra again.

I’ve used about all modern ones but right now: CTX 3030, White’s MXT Pro, XP Deus, Vaquero, White’s TRX

I've got a good 15 hours use out of the 12 x 10 and just recently used the 11 x 8 on 3 detecting outings. The 12 x 10 definitely wears me out, while the 11 x 8 is easier to use than the stock coil.

I dug a few pennies today down to the guard on my Lesche handle or a little deeper with it. After pulling one penny out of the ground, I airtested it and was getting easily 8 inches and short blips at 9. This is with the Vaquero adjusted a little bit negative and the sensitivity was around 7-8.

Coil for my T came in today. Did a side by side for you folks to get a better idea if it's size. Feelin' some good vibes. :icon_thumleft:

That new coil (my case new machine/coil) is one of the better items I've purchased.

I love the feather light weight Pointman. Even with this new larger coil the Tejon still feels lighter to swing than my AT Pro, which I also like. I have a small old pounded amusement park grounds out here. I sometimes try it out a bit and still pull the odd deep old silver from it now and then, when my patience builds back up for the place. I am curious as to how it will all play out with the new DD in the mineralized soil.

Cool. I have to wait but I"m hoping that a swampy patch by a park will allow me to dig soon. Heavy leaf mulch. As an aside. When I set my Tejon beside my AT Pro, I noticed that the coils were almost identical in size, and close in shape. The similarities were striking. And the Tesoro coils and or machine combo's much lighter weight, was also striking.
