Thats like , “We closed the factory down because someone lost the key to the door and we couldn’t get in.” With a little tweaking and marketing that machine could have been a best seller.

How you lose/corrupt in any case, original source code is beyond me. Thats some stuff you put in a safe along with multiple copies/version updates. If I remember correctly it was said that the original code was corrupted and it wouldn't work any longer. Thats why you have versions of code.. you roll back lol. Kinda seems far from the truth to me, but nothing is impossible.
