Im am headed out Thursday evening to head back down into Dead Mans Canyon out near Comstock Texas. We are going to spend a few days out there exploring some interesting areas that I marked on my last visit. I have done some more research on the canyon along with some satellite mapping of where the ambushes may have taken place. There are dozens of caves that I want to check and some areas that really "speak to me". Anyway, wish me luck on the exploration. I will take some pictures of the expedition and post up when I return. Gotta go gear up.

These are from out last years hike.

Good luck on the hunt for sure! That looks like a great place to explore and "find" yourself if nothing else.

Shaw: If you haven't left those potholes in the ancient bedrock of that

good luck and can't wait to see what you discover.

I think in an area like that I would want to wear orange too, even after hunting season, makes it easier for the rescue plane to spot you. ;D
