Lake Travis water levels are extremely low but metal detecting is not allowed. I guess that takes care of Lake Travis. Don't know about the other lakes in the area. HH

I was wondering why you can't detect at that lake. I would think if you can't detect at a park, you could detect below the water line as it is not part of the park.

I wondered about Lake Travis after I saw all the pictures showing it's low levels. Too bad it is off limits.
