where to go for a short day hunt

I would suggest doing research before just jumping into an area. I am west of Cleburne and have a few spots, but the obvious spots around me have been hammered by a few local guys, and I'm having to research a lot to try and find my "honey hole". Haven't found one yet, but my search continues

I'd be interested if it's still around. I'm in Weatherford and it's a struggle to find anywhere worth the time. After moving here from California a year ago, my goal for the year is ONE old coin. So far not even a wheat penny...the only one I've found was in my pocket change LOL.
