I picked this Taxco choker up a couple weeks ago at Goodwill for $4 & change. It weighs in at 55 grams. Was doing some eBay listings this afternoon & realized I didn't have a clue what the "stones" are. I've added several pics because the color shifts depending on where the light is. Any help would be appreciated.

Nice piece. Is it signed?

It does look like cat's eye moonstone. I've got no way of telling if it's real or not. The piece is marked Mexico, 925, & what looks like TD-27.

A quick run over to your friendly jeweler (you do have one, right? Having one in this line of business is essential for advice and repairs) will tell you if they are glass or real stones. Gonna guess they are glass. That's a nice piece but doesn't appear to warrant putting anything other than glass in.
