A local TS has a 91pc Elington (made in Japan) china set. I don't know if it is complete or not. I just happened to see it at that bottom of a behind the counter shelf as I was leaving and asked the clerk how much.

She stated that it was 91 pieces and was $51.00. I get an additional 25% off there through the 28th. It is a floral pattern (sorry, no pics) and there have been a few sold on the bay.

I have not the slightest clue about this, except it sounded like a good find. I would appreciate any advice about it. Assuming they are still there, I can go back tomorrow.

I don't have any info about this specific pattern. I always look at china sets & almost never purchase. One reason is it's a pain to ship. The other is that most sets have a terrible sell through rate. Check the number of completed listings and then see how many actually sold. Most of the time the solds are a small fraction of completed.
