I hit an antiques mall in the next town over for the first time. Large and very nice. In one booth was a bag of flatware marked Silver & Plate $23 and the booth was 25% off. In it we're about 25 pieces of stainless and silver plate but I noticed two marked Sterling so I bought the bag. Pullled out 6 Sterling pieces at 3.58 ozt. Not bad for $18. I was really surprised as I never expect to find anything like this at an antiques mall. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498509498.383111.jpg
I also picked up this Benrus watch for $20. It needs a new hairspring but otherwise in excellent condition. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498509537.677074.jpg I also picked up a few more watches for $1.50 each at the local flea market this weekend. All work. I also got 8 ladies movements for $1 each (no pic) for parts but there was a Universal Geneve caliber 501 in working condition in the lot. Might be able to get $10-$20 bucks for that. That Rega is calling me. Are you selling it on eBay? Hit me up!

PM me and I'll send it your way. It runs but a little fast. Original band. Just send me a broken Swiss watch or movement I can work on in exchange when you get one

I'll send you a pic...I have several Swiss watches I'm still trying to figure out what to do with...while still buying more every week!

I got the Rega running perfectly and those eyes just snap back and forth! It seems to be dead on accurate and of course you never know with these movements. I didn't realize it was made in Israel and is copyrighted 1969. I did get my donor BB14 movement in for the Benrus and other than having a hairspring that was disconnected from the balance bridge a quick attachment and reset and the Benrus is running perfectly too. I also had an old gold filled twist-o-flex bracelet that actually matches the pyramid Crystal . I will probably still put a leather strap on as soon as I can get a 16mm in.
