Found this in a $5 bag. I thought it was going to be a wash, but this was one of the last pieces. Too bad it doesn't have a match, seems too nice to scrap. Marked .585 with an infinity symbol for the jeweler's mark. Total weight is 1.1 grams, but .75 of it is probably the stone. Also has a tiny diamond chip above the stone.

Make a pendant. Clip the loop on the earring mechanism "high and tight" and then sand it and voila. Yeah prob almandine garnet

They had another bag there yesterday, I'll probably stop in the morning and check it (if still there) for the match.

After searching, I was thinking rhodolite, but that could be it as well.
