Best Place to Sell Gold and Silver Jewelry

I have accumulated a small bag of gold and silver jewelry that I've picked up on the cheap from various thrift stores and want to sell off but I'm not sure the best manner. Some have condition issues or just not in style so Ebaying them as is I'm not sure is the best method. I'd prefer just to sell as scrap. What percentage of scrap price do jewelry and pawn stores typically offer? Would it be better to go through one of those mail in places?

Contact ara in Texas. They pay 98% on gold, 90% on silver. I have used in the past and had no problems. They are a refinery in Texas.

If not just go around . Weigh it out and get pricing tell them you looking for somebody you can consistently go to can see what the best is they offer. Sometimes the more you have the more percentage you get. I’ve done better with smaller stores in the past. The bigger the overhead the less they pay. Here it’s normally 50-80% of spot.
