I hit a thrift store that I have purchased watch jars from in the past. I hadn’t seen any in a while so I asked the manager if she had any coming out soon. She walked in back and pulled out a jar and said I could have it for $20. I jumped on it and it turned out to be a fairly good one. The best of the bunch is a 1970 Bulova Accutron railroad approved watch. I also got a nice Elgin precision, Lucien Picard, Oris, Tissot, Longines, Seiko Chronograph, and many others. No gold or silver but I did get a fake Rolex and fake Piaget. I am very happy with it. I don’t have the batteries with me so I’ll be a while before I find out if most of the battery watched are runners. Hell of a value. I just saw one of those running RR Accutron's maybe two weeks ago in an antique shop with a claim of recently serviced for $170.00... What brand is the LED watch,?

It is a no brand from what I can tell. It works but when I set the time it doesn’t hold so I think the ram memory is shot

Yeah the LED watches were a pretty hot commodity when they came out, but pretty short lived. I remember my dad had got one, but it was tossed into a drawer as soon as the battery ran down. It seems they weren't so practical having to push a button to see what time it was when all you have to do on a analog is look at it. That Oris is a good one to. You definitely got a good watch a jar for your money.

Very nice selection! Has to be an easy many-times the investment profit, no?
