The original by Kromex goes for over $200 regularly.

Do you start your Ebay auctions at zero? Or do you set a reserve? I'm always afraid I'll let something valuable go for like $2

If i paid 2-5 bucks for it, let it rip. I rarely sell things at auction but when you know its going to go real high, start it at a dollar. It won't stay at 2 bucks for long.

I’m a coward too, so I usually list at a fixed price obo and then wait for offers. I use auctions when I have no idea what something is worth.

Just from observation, reserve auctions rarely do well. As bigcaddy64 said, if you only paid a couple of bucks for it, take the chance. If you don't like to gamble, do like randazzo1 says, list it BIN. Somewhere in between would be to list as an auction and start it where you won't feel like you lost if it just gets the minimum bid.

Personally, I've had great results from .99 auctions, but I've also had items sell for less than what I would have liked. Looking at completed auctions can help you decide.
