I picked these up at my secret thrift store just a few days ago. I didn’t have time to take pictures then but I had some time this evening to look them over closer.

The small plate looks like silver plate but I had to have it just because of the marks and age. Is anybody familiar with this mark? It looks like a flag with MK in the middle and metal blanc below.

Google searches didn’t pull up much but maybe I’m looking in the wrong place.

A quick search didn't show anything about the MK mark. The "Metal Blanc" designates an alloy of some sort and was used by a lot of French silver plate manufacturers.

I've been doing to looking based off the French tip but can't come up with a name. 925-1000.com has a section of silverplate hallmarks (french) but the MK doesn't appear there. Back to square one.....
