Is anyone familiar with Asian woodblock prints? Japanese, Chinese?

I found this neat print in a thrift recently. I'm not sure of the origin. My immediate thought is Japanese by the style. Anyone know anything or are able to read the writing? Thanks!

The writing is Chinese. It say’s “Unknown” in the parenthesis.

Fyi - I do not speak or read Chinese. You can download the same app and do it. First clip the text and then contrast it dark like this: ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1574425925.917527.jpg

Then run it through the OCR. For nice clean modern text like this it will automatically recognize it and translate it. Here’s the output:

Thank you! I tried a translation app on my phone that is tied to the camera, but it kept changing the words it was showing and didn't come close to this translation at all! I'll need to do some more research.

明治年間作大鳥神武帝之導行軍図. Hopefully this helps. It’s the proper order of the characters. Also some of the characters the ocr didn’t read correctly. If it is Japanese, it could refer to the Meiji (明治)era but that was 1867-1912。good luck.

The first part is reference to when it was created (Meiji) 明治年間作
大鳥神武帝之導行軍 Part talks about 大鳥 a bird. the Devine and mighty 神武 emperor or god 帝 leading his troops 導行軍. The man in the photo is looking at a bird.
