I'm just green with envy, I love old bottles and look what I missed. It's gonna be the 1st place I hit next time in town.

For those of you wondering ...there seem to be a couple of people missing from these pics...Mrs RebelT and TC...and thats because once down in the pit...we couldnt get them out....MrRebelT kindly offered to pull me up the hill...but decided to save the bottles as I so gracefully slid back to the bottom...LOL
Dennis worked forever to get that chamber pot lid out...
I knew Mrs RebelT and I would be friends when once down in the pit ,someone called down to us that there was a snake skin laying by her foot...she glanced down, gave it a kck and kept digging!!!

I thought we had some natural born miners from Virgina down in that pit. I am just glad that tree you were digging under didn't come crashing down on you guys. It will probably be gone next year. I guess I better start looking for another bottle dump. :icon_scratch:

Glad you enjoyed the bottle dig. You never know what is going to happen at a Chisholm Trail Hunt. :icon_thumleft:

They were all empty so I threw them away. :laughing7: I will save them for you till you come back. I hope that will be soon.

When you started sliding down that bank with that load of bottles,
I didn't know whether to laugh or or be concerned. . . but I do
remember the first words out of your mouth were: "Save the bottles". :D :D
(as you were taking your first "Kansas river-bank ride")

True "hard-core"
