I’m organizing a gold prospecting expedition to the Philippine Islands this summer for up to five people. The Philippines is estimated to have the second or third largest natural gold deposits in the world, and I have a number of promising, virgin sites on Luzon that can be suction dredged without restrictions. The areas are safe, but all candidates must be healthy and physically fit, of course. Several areas have abundant amounts of black sand (containing trace amounts of gold). To date, locals have been making steady recoveries of placer gold in the vicinity using only panning and sluicing. For more information, please contact Karl S. Ryll @ [email protected].

Philippine Gold

As an American living in the Philippines, I am curious about your post and have some questions
You surely realize that you will need extensive, and expensive, permits from the Philippine government and local authorities. Do you have these permits and licenses ? If so, when were they issued, where were they issued and by whom ? Government laws state that 70% of your finds belong to them if found on government lands with 30% going to the finder. If your recoveries are made on private land,30% goes to the government with the remaining 70% split between the permit holder and the land owner. Also, there are much more profitable places to mine gold than Luzon. As far as the safety you mentioned, you must be aware of the fact that four gold panners were recently found shot to death. The area of Luzon you are talking about is home to the Hukpalalaps who are socialist guerillas and delight in kid napping foreigners.I am not trying to rain on your parade or discourage you, I just don't want to see anyone hurt,or worse. The Philippines are a third world country and things can become deadly quickly, especially in remote areas. You also DO NOT want to wind up in a Filipino prison.Best of luck with your venture....go slow and be safe.
