I am planning a trip into the very NW section of Arizona !
That's north of The G. Canyon/Colo. River and (NE) of Lake Mead Areas!
It's a remote but really interesting area !
I have Two Fully Researched (Large! ) Treasure Leads !

I was going to try for this Nov.
Obviously, that's not going to happen !
So!
To be more realistic, I am setting a date for some time in March!
I have some work on the Jeep to do,
with the price of gasoline going to $5.00 a gallon.
I need to do all I can to increase the MPG!
I have already installed an Over Drive unit in the Transfer case!
It has given me a 30% mpg increase!
That's definately a large increase
But,
It's just a start,
Since I have started out with a 10 - 11 Mpg
I am now getting 14 mpg!
Next Step...
I am planning a Hydrogen Generator for my next Installation!
It is advertised as between a 15 -30% increase in MPG!
You have to know/remember, that my Jeep WAS! a Full Time 4WD
Now, with the OD Unit in the transfer case, I have a 17% OD Transfer Case and the kit has also, given me an option of 2WD (Lock Out Hubs)
I just hope that the Hydrogen Generator does as well!
After this, I have one more MPG Trick
That's a Crane Road Cam!
I have installed two of them beofre and have gotten 20% Increase on both my
Ford V-8 and my Chevy S-1O (V-6)
Of Course, both of these methods have and do increase the Horse Power as well!
But!

Right now, That's of a secondary benefit!

I just got the Hydrogen Generator for the Jeep
As soon as I go over the seven pages of installation info, I'll be a' put'n it on/in! :P
Then I'm going to be running some Mpg Tests ...
Right now, with the New Overdrive unit that, I, installed in the transfer case, earlier,
I am getting 13 mpg
Rather than my usual 10-11 !

Well, I'm 5'7" and 200 lbs. Not fat, just built kind of dense. So we should both be looking up.

This hunt sure sounds interesting, I am still trying to get myself a 4wd, atv and a two box MD. The other stuff I have or made. I always wanted to be in a location where I can try out my Desert Fox spiral, only used it a couple of times and got three flakes out of sorry dirt.
I am only 5"16" so I will probably be looking up to everyone sitting on my duff. I will probably hanging out in the camp most of the time. Not lazy, I am just old.Don't spend but a couple of hours at a time hunting or my legs give out.
I don't want to impose but if I see you guys there I would like to meet you.
I'm 80, old as kerosene.
