Hello!

Well, we had another nice sunny day in Eugene Oregon today! I'm sure it won't be like this for long! My wife & I bought some picnic food from the store and ate at a park down town. After we ate my wife laid in the grass reading a book while I took out the old XLT to hunt for treasures! After only a few minutes I dug a 1937-S Mercury Dime! That was about all I had time to find ~ the sun is setting earlier & earlier everyday now! All I dug after finding the Merc dime was a few clad coins and a 1956-D wheat cent.

This Merc dime is my silver coin find #81 for this year! I just might hit #100 by the end of 2008! We'll see!

I took pic's of the dime before & after I gently cleaned it up.

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Thanks man!

I'm not sure if I'm qualified to teach anything ~ I've had my XLT since 1999 and it's only been the last couple years that I've been finding silver on a regular basis with it! I'd hate to have to learn a new detector now ~ I'm just getting use to my XLT!!!

I think the silver nickles count too. So I think you'll make your goal of 100 ;D

I'll take a silver every hunt anyday even ever other hunt. :D

Good work !! ;D
Keep @ it and HH!! :D

I found my FIRST silver last night - first a 1912 nickel, then a '37 dime identical to yours!
Then a '21 Morgan dollar. All under our clothesline.
Shouldn't have let the wife see them - she wants to do the entire yard now!

Congrats on your find!
