Today was one of those days.Don't know where my luck came from today but I'll take it.I met up with Buckleboy and Rodeo for a Iron Brigade hunt. After last weeks killer finds I didn't think that things could get better... but they did. We did a little door knocking and got a no right off the bat. :P We then drove to a little spot that Buckle Boy hadn't given much thought to , turns out he led me to the Honey Hole.We got permission to hunt an old house site that we weren't sure about but thought lets give it a try.I turned on the machine and we all took off in the same direction. My first target was a brass lock.It says Tower&Lyon,N.Y..
I then moved on another 20 feet or so and hit a good target.Opened up the hole an out pops a 1841 large cent.OK now I'm on cloud 9.My first large cent.We did some high fives and carried on.A little while passes and BB is checking out a find with Rodeo when all of the sudden I got another good signal and Boom, a 1877 CC Seated Dime.Whoo hoo I'm now dancing with the stars. :o ;D.We all three sat and thought about the Lucky horseshoe I had stuffed up my you know where.Three killer finds in less than an hour. This sites finds were thin.We carried on for a while longer and then I got my fourth find of the day.A nice Eagle button. My second in a week.Today was one of those days.I don't think I could top it again.
BuckleBoy ,once again an awsome hunt with you and Rodeo.Lets do it again soon.

Hill Billy

Sorry to hear about the horse shoe, but I'm sure all the fine finds make up for the inconvenience ;D

"I don't think I can top today"........You don't know how many times I personally said that after a successful hunt but time and time again I do top it. Hillbilly , you had one of those days and I'll bet your week will be full of whistling zippidy do da and skipping around on cloud nine. Everything you found is top notch and congratulations to the Iron Brigade for bringing home the goods.

I strongly believe that a Carson City minted Seated Liberty dime will warm the coldest heart.

Would it warm yours if I sent it to you?
