Are you sure it's a dog tag? Looks like a railroad baggage tag...

no not for sure thats just what i thought it was.a buddy of mine said it looked like a baggage tag but the size made me think dog tag

Good find. Next time you might not want to clean a dog tag, if it is a dog tag. I think it's a baggage tag too.

People do pay cash quick for old dog tags, not cleaned that is.

Just off the top of my head it would have been worth $28.00 if not more.
