I’m still hunting the RxR site and these are my finds from the last several hunts.
The Santa Fe lock was found a few weeks ago, I found another lock but it’s a modern day style lock. I also found a Chinese coin. Can anyone date it?

I found 3 coins on top of iron. If you look closely you might be able to see the rust stains still 2 of them.

You have some awesome finds there!

As far as the Chinese coin goes, I think they are dated by dynasties

I would think the locks gotta be worth a pretty penny!

That head & tails coin is funny!

Great stuff!

That Santa Fe RR Keen Kutter is a $400-500 lock!

Don't let anybody try to lowball it as a repro or fake, either. Check it out at the following site, and I believe you'll find that yours is genuine:

Not sure just when it was made (there are several Santa Fe versions), but the E. C. Simmons Hardware Co. patented its "Keen Kutter" logo-case lock design in 1906:

Those are some sweet digs man.

That is a untouched area there. I love it when you get a variety of everything.

I actually think that Lockheed fob is your best find. That is an early date for that company I think, and their importance in the direction of our national foreign policy at the time, lends it some neat factor.

Not to mention that you found it around the fabled testing and proving grounds of the California desert.

Nice Lockheed fob!

You know, I have found gobs of them at this site, many still left there in my trash pile. I'll have to gather them up.

Thanks.

Outstanding finds!! A little bit of something for everyone in this post!

Aside from the lock & joke coin, the toys are cool. Old dog tags are good, and that silver sure cleaned up well!
