First day that I got to get out and get a feel for my new E-trac. Learned a lot. Still trying to let it all soak in. Anyhow here's a few of the standouts from the day. Nothin real special I don't think. I know the lock is a fairly newer lock, just found it interesting that the lock had been shot!! The US button I'm posting over in "What is it" cause I can't quite place and ID on it.

Nice finds  E-Trac is a breeze to use after a few outings. Read Andy Sabisch' book The Minelab Explorer and E-Trac Handbook. I believe that is a US collar disk from WWI...found one the other day.

I have one similar to it from my G-pa...he was in WWII, on a battleship.

Nice finds! Glad ya got out and got some experience with your new detector. I have a new XTerra 70 sitting in the corner begging to go out, and Sunday might just be the day. 60 degrees and the snow is melting fast! Ground is ripe for digging!

Congrats!
