I am pretty lucky in the fact that i live in a part of North East PA which has not seen the major development of other counties in the area . I remember when I was in my teens cliff jumping off of the water falls , this winter i decide to research my area more , and it was a popular spot for couples , family picnics all troughout the early to mid 20th century , I took advantage of a day of warmer weather , and the predicted snow storm to arrive tonight and went out on a nice long hike , for it takes a long hike to get to this area .
I decided to focus on areas that would be used to picnic and private areas " changing of clothes etc etc " , The ground is still frozen accept for the brief melt even though i received strong deep signals i decide to look for surface to a couple of inches and this is what i dug up , yesterday , I cleaned up my finds Not a bad start to the Season cannot wait for the Thaw

Looks like it was worth the hike, holy smokes! If those were the shallow finds I can't wait to see what you pull from there when the ground thaws.

That's a great haul of old silver. I can't wait to see what you'll find when the ground thaws out and you can dig the deepies.

Maybe she took the earrings off to jump off the cliffs / waterfalls? I'd get a water detector and go in that pool for sure!

When you get strong vids 36 , 44 , 46's with a bar of 1 to 2 on the Xtera -70 on virgin ground there is only one thing to do dig dig dig .... :icon_pirat: ... most of the areas are over grown with brush during the spring and summer , And yes my area has the most waterfalls then any other State or county in the North east ...
I am still waiting for my first Lenape (Delaware) Tribe Silver arrow head ::) .

If that is your start at the beginning of the season, I can't wait to see the end results.
