Bet that got your attention!. I heard on the local radio station a lady was offering a $1000.00 Reward to the person who finds and returns a silver wrist band she lost last week in the shorebreak at a beach about 25 miles from me.?

Well I was in the water searching before sunrise. I thought every guy with a detector would be there but I was the only one. A south swell was coming in with sets at 4 to 6 feet.
conditions couldn't have been worse. I tried from the beach to shorebreak in between sets. Then from the water letting the waves push me into the area. Got pounded by waves all day. I never did find the wrist band. However I did find 3 silver rings, Ten 14k rings, a silver ankle chain, $17.00 in change, a working Seiko ladies watch,? and a canadian dime. Total time in the water 9 hours.
Retail value of all the jewerly, about $1000.00

Nice finds pinger. You got to have it rough on those beaches with nothin to look at or anything. Do you need a hunting partner in the Winter.....Lance

Ya Know Lance before I started detecting when i saw a nice looking girl in a bikini walk by i"d check out her...(well you know). Now i wouldn't even notice if she was naked, but I could tell you how many carets that diamond on her hand is. As they say over here "watch the hands!"

What kind of water detector are you using? I am looking at the garrett sea hunter mark 2 or possibly the minelab excalibur. Still learning how to use my gti 1500 but I was at the beach a couple days ago and the gti 1500 did not do to well in the wet sand.

:o Wow! Takes a lot of stamina to put up with those waves for that long! I bet you sleep hard after a hunt like that! Great job!

Did you get the extra $1000? Bet she won't be wearing that into the surf again.
