Found my oldest coin yet 1909, I think!!!!!!!

Found this today in a park that I had never detected. I don't think the park had ever seen a metal detector. I dug about 40 coins in and hour or so. I will be going back. This looks to me like a 1909 wheat. But it's beat up pretty bad, that soil is like sand paper.
It was about 2 inches deep. I also dug 3Q 3D and 2p all clad from the same hole. All about 6 inches deep and from 1966 to the mid 70's. I think this park will give up some silver.

It's Definately 1909, Not Sure IF the 3 Marks On Bottom Back are V.D.B. or Damage tho

The 0 in 1909 looks a little high to me..???????????????????

Great digs Kermit! The 1909VDB is extremely hard to get ahold of let alone find it in a park! WTG. Wish I had one to put in Penny book!

I'm really not sure if it's VDB or not. I'll clean it up a little and repost it.

Just make sure not to clean it too harshly, then you'l never know if it is :o But im hoping it is!! by the way, can you make out an "S"?
