The following day or July 5th!

well today I might have found something rather old and possibly valuable to a collector.
but first let's talk coins.

A 1882 IH looks to be the best condition I've found yet for IH's. The 1909 wheatie is in
worse shape.

5th continued....

Found a Liberty Cap Colonial Cent in bad shape but I am not complaining! That's 1793-1796,? in case you were wondering. The back is completely gone.

The find that may be worth more than a few bucks is next. It's a woman's hair pin and looks
very old to me. The cleaned side shows a thin gold plate over a silver looking material but
I really don't know what it's made out of.

The uncleaned side is second pic of comb/pin.

Anybody know the circa of this type of hair pin or have an opinion - love to hear from you!

4th/5th of july was very, very good to me!?

Hey O7 great finds. You had one fantastic weekend. I only found a few indian heads and a nice merc dime. That quarter is great. I have found the seated liberty half dime and dime but not the quarter yet. My liberty cap large cent is not quite as good as what you found. Take a look around the rim. It should read one hundred to the dollar. Congrats on the great finds. The hair pin is great.....Lance
