At last!
My first Roman coin - A dupondius of Antoninus Pius.
A bit scrappy I know but so would you be being buried almost 2000 years!

That's both a scrappie and a greenie.

I'm going to have to switch to arrowheads or fossils. My dug Kansas finds have all been 20th century.

There is a chance of it being an As yes - I will know for definate in about 4 weeks.

Nice coin! We don't find those on this side of the pond.

I cannot make out what - if anything - crowns the bust of Antoninus Pius. If the bust is bare-headed or is crowned with a wreath, the coin is an as. If the bust is wearing a radiate crown (spiked crown), the coin is a dupondius.
