I got to go out last Saturday to a new spot at first it was a little slow it took about two hours to get my first good signal and it ended up being my oldest coin yet a 1728 kg II, after lunch I hit a different part of the Field and got another copper but cant tell what it is. I found half a buckle and three buttons and a small token? it has a hole in the middle with lines around the edges, and I found half a arrowhead. It was a good day except for all the ticks in the Field and the flies but it was worth it! HH!

A good hunt for sure, the KGII looks like an Old head Type, making the possible dates 1746 to 1754, If it had a U in GEORGIUS instead of a V, than it would be 1740, 1742 or 1745.

Young Head KGII dates range 1729 to 1739, but your copper looks like an Old Head type to me in the photo....

Nice going on the coppers!!

This seems to be a real bad year for the ticks. Just examine yourself real good. Some of those suckers can sneak by undetected for a few days.

Good luck on future hunts!

You have a great site there, Collector1. It holds some nice potential! Even though I love coppers, the buckle is my favorite relic.
