States Coins, my favorite book. Actually, not one, but three. After I bought my first in '95 I've been seriously looking for these and any other coin price books at garage sales. Many of you know that the red book itself lists its own copies with collector values, just like coins. My opinion is that these are hard to find (the books, not the coins).
So, finally after 14 years I found these three at a garage sale today, tucked in back of a bunch of crap, neatly stacked, '69, '76 and '85. Really nice '76 Bicent. issue. All are in EF to crispy new condition. Fiddy cent each. Check out my '95, after much use, they grow twice in size in thickness. The ones I got today are still tight and difficult to open even half full without cracking sounds emmiting angrily from the spines. (no gold dollars or half dimes hidden in the spines).
t. Kinda hard
