These are my finds from a 2 week trip home to upstate N.Y.. I spent the 1st 40 yrs. of my life there, 20 of it detecting so I didn't go at it blind. I detected an old park at the top of our main street. A path that came down thru the woods to a 1902 school and in the woods and along the shore of the Hudson River on a beach that my mother used to swim at in the 20's. I found the Morgan in the school woods in the same place I found 2 walkers when I lived there. I thought you might like to see what N.Y. has to offer. It was a great trip.

Is that a ring or a napkin holder? It sure is pretty. Any
marks on the inside ? What about the other ring? Jimbob

It is a ring . It looked gold coming out of the ground. It is marked Sterling. The other ring is junk but finding any ring is fun for me.

Thanks all. I was wondering about the age of the ring myself. The school was open from 1902 to about 2000 so there is a wide gap.
