1st day with earphones

back to the same site i been working for 6 mo. used earphones this time ,awful hot but got signals at areas i worked many times before

Earphones are great. Wouldn't leave home without them! Better battery life, and easier to hear everything in windy and noisy places. Also people often think you can't hear what they are saying and leave you alone. LOL

They do make a heck of a difference I upgraded to sunrays, they have a switch on them to make all the signals equally loud, its great for gettin coins on end, because its not the faint signal anymore.

Yes any set of Earphones that has a Limiter switch on it
helps equalize the tones so if you go over a deep target
the hit a shallow one it does not blow out your EAR DRUMS.

Black Widows, Grey Ghost, Sunray Pro Golds have the switch
not shure about the Rat Phones.

I wouldn't ever hunt without them. Lots of advantages.......
1. You hear signals you wouldn't otherwise hear.
2. You can pretend you didn't hear that stupid question from the pesty guy who "just bought a radio shack detector" and wants you to teach him everything you know! lol
3. You can be in your own little world when near a road where you feel "everybody is watching only you". lol
4. They keep the musquitoes out of your ears!
