I went to the middle school next to my house this evening and found some clad and some wheats.
The wheats are all from the 1940s and 1950s. I also found something I almost threw in my junk
bucket, I thought it had some markings so I took it home and cleaned off a little.
It appears to have an eagle like you find on some old military buttons. I don't know what is, I was thinking
a pull from a zipper but thats just a guess.
Joe

UPDATE!
The item with the eagle was solved in the "What is it" forum.
It is a keyhole cover from a old lock of some kind probably from the Eagle Lock Co.
I added a photo of a similar lock from the internet!
