After work I headed back down to where I dug a 1917 Canadian dime during my lunch break today. My buddy Ron was just a few blocks away and invited me to join him in a yard that he got permission to hunt. Ron dug a couple silver coins, a bunch of wheats, and other goodies too. I ended up digging a 1960 Silver Canadian dime, Trade token, ten wheats dating from 1916 to 1950, and a play coin.
This silver dime is only my 2nd silver foreign coin for the year ~ and they were both dug today! 61 silver coins total for the year now.
I assumed the token was a Maverick since there was no city/state on it, but the J.C. stands for Junction City Oregon. I love finding trade tokens!
Thanks for looking!
